





FloweRescue Members Ikebana workshop
When: Wednesday, 9 April from 18-20:30

Price: 25€ for FloweRescue members
Ikebana is a form of art that has developed over the centuries. In the hart of ikebana is concentrating in the making process and paying careful attention to the materials. In the workshop, we will be introduced to the basic of ikebana and making two arrangements based on the ikebana ideology.
Our instructor will be Pia Sippel, who is a highly educated instructor of Sogetsu-school ikebana, a member of Sogetsu Teachers’ Association and a long-term ikebanist. She also has extensive Ikebana teaching and exhibition experience. Pia is also the chair of Finland Sogetsu Study Group.
She is ready to instruct us in Finnish and English.
There is room for max 10 participants, and the workshop will be held if there are at least 7 participants. The price is 25€/person, covering all the materials and instruction.

You do not need to bring any materials for the workshop. Pia will bring vases and kenzans as well as scissors and FloweRescue will provide flowers. If you like, you can bring your own clippers suitable for cutting branches.
