How does it work?

FloweRescue ry collects waste/surplus flowers from wholesalers, florists, retailers and events. We rescue them by sorting and cleaning the flowers and then we donate the flowers to people who might not otherwise get to enjoy flowers.

By sponsoring our Kukkia Kaikille youth program, you bring the benefits of creative flower activities to young people who are at-risk of social exclusion. Read more about the program here.

FloweRescue is a nonprofit organization, your contribution supports staff time (flower sourcing and rescuing, training partners, delivering flowers, ongoing program development); workshop materials; transportation and a share of the administrative costs (banking and accounting fees, insurances, etc.) of running the Kukkia Kaikille program.
